Mineola - Building A Safe Park For Our Community

The Mineola Civic Center was given a tremendous gift by Rheba Myers to establish the John J. and Rheba Myers Splash Park. However, the gift was explicitly given to build the Splash Park. It is up to the community to provide the resources necessary for the buildout surrounding the park.

The surrounding area will consist of restrooms, a concession stand, and a shaded pavilion area for families to hold birthday parties, family reunions, and community events. The splash park will be approximately 3,500 square feet making it one of the largest in the East Texas area.
